when all this is over
i want to be held by you
and
in our older years
i want to hide in your embrace and breathe your scent in
~just that~
to breathe your years apart from me
and trace the years lost
the years without you
and the years in you
when all this is over
i want to plant an amaltaas
and when it grows old with us
i shall pick bunches
of yellow bursts
and fill our vase with the sun
i’ll set a table for two
and place the vase between our gaze
to hold a eternity in its orbit
we sill sip our kehwa
under the moonlight
with two thousand fireflies
lightening our night
one for each year we were apart~
when all this over
we will sleep under moonless nights
drink deeply off the morning dew drops
time will wait on us
and though it cheats on us now
it will be ours
when all is this over
